Designer Wiz Awards: Process
Process Week 1 : RequirementsOur awards process begins
with a single award committee judge who will briefly visit and navigate
the submitted site. The award committee judge will visually note that all minimum
criteria
requirements posted on the criteria page can be met.
If a web site has been
deemed acceptable by our review judge a notice is sent to the
webmaster of the site with notification of our acceptance. We
will include a nominee award for your posting during the award
grading process period. The nominee award posting is not a
required action, but is simply for submitted web site
purposes only.
Process Week 2 : Functionality
The award judges meet and review the site for
the following criteria.

2. Speed & Bandwidth Sensitivity
3. HTML Quality Structure
4. Navigation & Links Structure
5. Legality & Credits Fulfillment
Process Week 3 : Design
The
award judges meet and review the site for
the following criteria.
1. Graphic Elements & Design Implementation
2. User Friendliness & Functions
3. Aesthetics & Beauty
4. Alignment & Layout
5. Integration
Process Week 4 : Content
The
award judges meet and review the site for
the following criteria.
1. Web Site Purpose
2. Human & Robotic Interaction
3. Information Process
4. Verbal Expression
5. Detail Orientation
Process Week 5 : Originality
& CreativityThe
award judges meet and review the site for
the following criteria.
1. Innovation & Lateral Process
2. Uniqueness & Creativity
3. Advanced Technology
4. Distinctiveness & Branding Remembrance
5. Vision & Insight Expressions
Process Week 6 : Professionalism & Effectiveness
The award judges meet and review the site for
the following criteria.
1. Customer Service & Client Confidence
2. Values & Ethics
3. Focus
4. Advanced Components
5. Overall Site Effectiveness & Purpose
Final :All process stage review
points are tallied, and ranked according to grade point. Each
week process grading is worth up to 20 points with each
reviewed criteria being worth up to 4 points each.
How Score Grading Is Tallied: We add the total amount of
scoring by all review judges during the process week. We
divide the number by the amount of judges submitting
grades. All scores demonstrating a final tallied grade
average of .5 and under (example: 88.4), are
automatically rated to the nearest lower whole number
(example: 88) on scale. All numbers above .6 or above
are moved to nearest high number (example: 89).
